Liberty Cable in Puerto Rico Enters the Business-Services Market in Partnership with Epygi Technologies

Liberty Cable and Benchmark Technologies team together to provide Epygi’s Quadro line of IP PBXs to the SMB market.

Plano, Texas, United States, and San Juan, Puerto Rico (September 1, 2009) – On August 19, 2009, Liberty Cable, a provider of cable-TV, telephone and Internet services in Puerto Rico, launched a new division, Liberty Business Services, to provide voice, data, video and advertising services for businesses of all sizes. In addition, telecommunication experts in the new division will assist customers in developing and implementing the right combination of solutions according to their specific business needs. Benchmark will provide pre-sales engineering and installation support of Epygi’s award winning and cost-effective line of IP PBXs to Liberty and their customer base.

Liberty recently completed a $ 1.5 million investment in soft-switch and software upgrades, creating a redundant infrastructure it didn’t have before and allowing the company to offer the services in its business-service division.
