Incorrect interface status when monitoring QuadroFXO using SNMP

I have a QuadroFXO which is working really well. I am impressed by the features and stability of the device. It is running the latest firmware available for this unit - v5.1.16 (at least I am pretty sure it is the latest).

I recently decided to add the device to our OMD infrastructure monitoring system (Check_mk and Nagios) using SNMP checks. I enabled SNMP on the device and can successfully do a snmpwalk against the device but I have noticed what I think is an incorrect value for ifOperStatus on the LAN interface (eth0, interface index 2).

The LAN interface is connected and up and I can login to the QuadroFXO via the web interface. The WAN interface is disconnected. I have included part of the snmpwalk output below:
IF-MIB::ifOperStatus.7 = INTEGER: down(2)
IF-MIB::ifOperStatus.8 = INTEGER: down(2)
IF-MIB::ifOperStatus.9 = INTEGER: down(2)

IF-MIB::ifOperStatus.2 is down when in fact it should be up (INTEGER value 1). Other counters associated with this interface are incrementing eg ifInOctets.2, ifInUCastPkts.2 which is helpful.

I have come up with a workaround for the interface monitoring check in OMD so it monitors an interface in the down state but it would be better if the device reported the correct status.

Could someone please confirm whether this is expected behaviour or is it a bug?

Thanks

Hi all,
Today the sip trunk provider called me with a particular issue. It seems that they are seeing more numbers making calls that are not DID's
I have DID's that start from xxxx100 -xxxx118 and none DID's numbers that start from xxxx119 - xxxx142.
The 3 last digits are also the extension of the phones.
The issue is when the none DID's make a call for example extension 134 the number shows up xxxx134.
The thing is when none DID's make a call, the main number xxxx100 needs to show up as the number.
I have the xxxx134 registered in the username, because I can't register the xxxx100 more than one time at other extensions.
I have User Auth activated also, so the people can make calls anywhere in the office and depending the number they dial, it will ask them to enter their ext and code.

How can I fix this?

We are using an Epygi 2x with Fibre Broadband in the UK. The bandwidth now exceeds the 10000 kbit/s limits and is causing a bottleneck in performance.

Is anyone aware of a fix for this, maybe a firmware upgrade?

We are running 5.2.48 which I appreciate is fairly old.

Thank you

Hello,

We are testing the Hot Desk functionality on a Quadro M32, and have a few queries, would somebody be able to provide some feedback on the items below?

1. We do not want to implement any Auto Log-Off policy, but if a user forgets to log off, they cannot log on to another phone while the first one is logged on. Can we get the user to log on to the new phone, and it will automatically disconnect the first phone.

2. Logging off - if someone goes to use a phone and someone is logged on, it asks for the original user's password before it will allow the log off. can we use the *78 to logoff without a password?

3. GUI Management - i cant seem to find anyway to manage / log off users via the GUI on the Quadro. could someone point me in the right direction?

Many Thanks

Hi guys,

Haven't been here in quite a while but have searched and can't find an answer to this query.

I have several Quadro units (16x's, 2x's, 6L's) in which i have made use of the local AAA table to provide a PIN code access of sorts to the users. However, I now have a requirement to add new users which has taken the list of PIN codes to approx 70. Now as there are only a few Quadro's to program I don't mind entering the extra PIN codes manually, but when the list reached 50 I found I could add no more.

So my long winded question is, Does the Quadro have a limit on the number of entries in the Local AAA table? Or is there something I am missing?

Amy help much appreciated.
