Quadro6L SLA Line Configuration

Hi Everybody,

I'm trying to configure a remote extension via my VPN on one of my Quadro6L units. In QLD, all of the extensions are PnP, and they work beautifully.

I need to now configure an extention without PnP, but I'm having trouble finding the password for the SLA line identities for my snom extension.

Could anyone shed some light on how to configure these Shared Lines? Much appriciated. --JM

Figured it out. Read the generated configuration from the Quadro.

I am digging through the configs and can't find the SLA password. Would you mind sharing which config you exported/viewed to figure this out?

Hello,

As manual configuration of the SLA will be difficult, I would suggest using Quadro auto-configuration mechanism instead of PnP(as PnP will be difficult to do over VPN).

Assuming that you have VPN between Quadro and remote location and remote network and Quadro LAN networks are visible to each other, I would suggest to specify the IP Phone's MAC address in the IP Lines setting of the Quadro.
On the Remote phone Quadro LAN IP should be specified as configuration server, so that the Phone will go and pull the configuration from Quadro.
If the remote phone get's its IP from some local DHCP server, on the server you can specify Quadro LAN IP as TFTP server option 66. This will pointing Quadro to be configuration server for the phone.
