HI
I was wondering are the Internal FXS ports switched directly to the PSTN/ISDN line - for example if I put a modem onto the internal FXS would it possibly connect at 33.6K or better Thanks Ed |

the FXS ports are not switched directly to PSTN. The analogue voice on the FXS input is being digitized in DSP and then goes to ISDN. If it is FXO (to PSTN) then it is converted back to analogue and goes to PSTN. However, even though it is not direct swithching, you should be able to have 33.6K with the modem connceted to FXS.
