Hi there Epygi Eng.
I have 1 request with regards how the NONE in the advanced tab of the IP Line setings works. Currently, when you use the advanced tab of an IP line and change settings to reflect your key requirements I have noticed that unused / PREPROGRAMMED keys are set to extension@epygiipaddress with extension as the type of key. Ordinarily this would not be a problem but I have found the need to alter the function keys on a handset to implement PARK key, Key Enabler functionality for route changes in day night ring etc... now when you make a change to a handset manually the telephone system will alter the key back to extension@epygiipaddress with extension as the type of key. The only way I have acheived to remove this behaviour is to set the advanced tab for the key characteristics to NONE in the drop down, navigate to the phone on the lan side of the Epygi and change the key to what is needed. But I havent rebooted the telephone system yet to see whether or not this is overridden, at present though it looks like this is the only way. My request there fore is to change the setting in the provisioning from deploying NONE from the drop down as extension@epygiipaddress with extension as the type of key to active and no characteriscs .. This way we should be able to make changes to the handset manually without the threat of an auto process removing the manual configuration. Regards Kevin |
