Default LAN port damaged.

Dear,

I'm from Brazil, I have a 2x frame, the LAN port is damaged, I performed a reset to port back to work, but did not.
wan port is working, how do I connect the 2x with firewall enabled?

Hi,

There would be no sense in firewall if you could connect to it when it is enabled. Of course there is no may to connect to unit if the firewall is enabled.
How did you determine that the LAN is damaged?
1. Doesn't the led "LAN" light up when you connect a cable to the LAN port?
2. How you are connecting the LAN cable? Are you connecting your PC directly to the LAN port? And what cable are you using (straight or crossover)?

Thank you Ruben for the help!

The 2x with factory firmware comes with the firewall enabled, such as lan damaged my door I can not connect.

follows the answers of your questions;

1. the LED is not lit.
2. the lan cable is plugged directly into the computer is plugged straight into crossover also tested and did not work.

Hi,

You can try also to connect the LAN to some switch with autodetection of connection type (straight-through or crossover). Almost all modern switches have this feature.

If that test also fails, you will have nothing to do more but contact to Epygi technical support or your local distributor to start an RMA process.

Try to ping the LAN card itself. Type these commands in the command prompt without the qoutes "c:\Documents and Settings\User>ping 127.0.0.1" then press enter. Try to see if the message has a reply from 127.0.0.1. If it does, meaning there is no problem with the LAN card.
