For the information of users, we have been having trouble transfering some incoming calls using our epygi phone system coupled with the Linksys SPA-941 phones.

We narrowed the problem down to calls without CID.

Linksys have now advised us the Linksys IP phones rely on the CID for call routing and if no caller ID is presented the call cannot be transfered.

They are hoping to resolve issue in the next firmware upgrade.

Symptoms of the problem are no music on hold for the calling party and call dropped on transfer.

I thought this may save others the pain that we have gone through trying to resolve the issue.
