The setup is: - Quadro 16x - 3 6FXOs - 32 port FXS gateway The customer has over 150 frequently dialled numbers and wants to have them accessible via speed-dial. For two reasons: 1) to restrict users from dialling any external number from their extensions (number not in speed-dial would be accessed via operator) 2) to allow them to quickly access business-critical numbers without having to go via the operator I tried to do this via Call routing but as we put in entries the whole system slowed down and lost performance. How do I get this set up? Brian |

Hi Brian yep, the Call Routing Table is the right place to do such things (you can use also "Speed Dial" service on the extesnion, but it is really too much work to configure that for every extension). In the 4.0 SW series, indeed, having many routing records slows down the system. In 4.1 SW this is fixed, however, so you can use this setup with 4.1. Best regards, David Edited by: davrays |
