Quadro Release 5.0.16

As not everybody get notifications about new releases, I'll post this here:

the 5.0.16 release for 2x/4x/16x is published today. It has some new features (small one mostly).

The matter is that I'm going to become a happy Quadro user soon and maybe will register my Quadro on Support site as well, so wait for AramK's return to Forum, this time as a customer

Life is a strange thing, though ...

What is meant by that? Does that mean you can set Callfwd/DND from the phone without having to call into the PBX?

In any case services are activated on PBX, so calling to PBX is mandatory.
Current feature implementation of DND and CFwd is the following:
1. User can set up any programmable button (even with light
indication) to DND and CFwd. When light is "on" corresponding feature is
active. This is possible to do from "IP Line" settings -> "Advanced".
2. DND button on the Snom phone will make "*72" call to Quadro to
activate service. But at the same time on response to this call "DND"
feature of the phone is also activated. So it is the same as if
customer used "DND" feature of the phone itself.
3. Also if from the Quadro services (f.e. upon time-out)DND is
deactivated it is reflected on the phone by corresponding action.
4. DND button state is shown on the phone screen as well (in addition
to lamp indication)
5. CFwd service is activated on the Quadro only and reflected on the
screen of the phone.
Please note:
1. fw of the phones should be recommended one (at least 7.3.4 for 5.0.16 Quadro fw)
2. to see the dnd sign on the screen of Snom360 you need to get rid of "HTTP password not set" message on the scree on the phone. You can do it by entering the hidden CGI page of the phone "security.htm" and selecting "Press to ignore warning forever"

How will it be indicated when you don't use the phone's cfwd functionality?

1. For the Snom 360/370/320 by indication on the LCD screen of the phone. You will see "CFwd on" on your phone's screen.
2. If you configured the programmable button from the IP Line settings -> Advanced, then in addition indication will be done by lamp of the programmable button (if light is "on" then service is active)
