Default Default SIP connections not made

I just installed an M32.

There are two problems and I can't shake the notion they're related.

First up, NONE of the usual default <number>@sip.epygi configs have been preset for any of the extensions. The extensions all exist in the list, but none have ANY sip config present.

Second - incoming calls from ISDN or PBX to IP extensions go DIRECT to voicemail even when phones are registered on those IP Lines. Only calls to FSX extensions ring normally. IP phones can make outgoing calls no problem.

Is there any way I can force the sip.epygi links to be set up without losing the entire config?

Anyone know if the second problem is related and, if not, what it might be?

Ok, lets try to understand:
1. You can always use the "Reset SIP Settings" to get extensions register with sip.epygi.com. Just select the extensions you need to register, and click on "Reset SIP Settings".
2. The second problem most probably (99.9% probability) is unrelated to the first.
3. Logs needed to understand why incoming call go to voicemail. I can make guesses, but I don't think it makes sence to try and change 20-30 settings to find the reason.. You can get the logs from the "System -> Diagnostics -> Show System Logs". Enable the developer logging, mark the logs, then make a call, refresh the Call Controller logs, copy and paste here (the last part (after the mark).

Best regards,
David

OK, we did the Rests Sip Settings thing and that created the Sip.Epygi links for all IP lines (and FXS) and... that appears to have fixed the other problem.

FYI

THIS is the first PBX for which we have upgraded the firmware BEFORE starting the config. Previous times we've done the base config first, then upgraded later.

So I wonder if the two basic seup Wizards have a bug in the new firmware?

Or maybe this is the first 32x you installed? As far as I know, the extensions are not registered on sip.epygi.com by default on the 32x (in any version).
The second problem could be a 32x bug, but to find that we would need you to open a ticket

It didn't occur to me the differnet models would behave differently, in this regard. Or indeed, in any, beyond the obvious need to match th enumber of lines, trunks, etc the hardware presents. ;-)

32x has too much lines We would prefer to avoid such big number of unnecessary registrations on sip.epygi.com, so we switch the registration OFF by default. So if user needs those numbers, he can get them (by using "Reset SIP address"). If he doesn't need them, server will not get additional load
