Hello,
Im trying to connect my softphone (ExpressTalk) with Quadro but no luck. On quadro I have setup a new IP Line as Other, with username: 999 and password 999 Then I opened settings of ExpressTalk and I used: Server (SIP Proxy or Virtual PBX): local ip of epygi SIP Number (or Username): 999 Password: 999 It says that is connected to sip server but when I try to call a local extension or a landline call it says: Error: other side said: Not registered address Any help? |

Try with X-Lite and see if that works for you.

on the express talk soft phone, try specifying the server as 'epygi_local_ip
ort'ei (172.30.0.1:5060) this might be why it does not register. you did not specify the port |

Well... I truied this softphone and it gives the same error. Looking at the SIP logs I canm see that indeed the Quadro answers with "403 Not Registered Address".
Without going to more details I can see two wrong things in the SIP INVITE message sent by that softphone from my conputer: 1. I have several IP addresses configured on my PC. This softphone uses one of addresses for everything, except its "Contact:" filed. There I see another address, which is actually irrelevant, as it is a completely different subnet. This looks like a buig on the phone. 2. This phone starts some external IP detection at startup, and as a result it puts in SDP part of the SIP message the external (public) IP of our NAT router, instead of the local IP of my PC. Looks like this phone assumes that user always registeres on outside SIP servers, but not on the SIP server inside its company's LAN. This is nother bug, or maybe misconfiguration on the phone. Probably it is possible to fix this by tweaking some settings on the phone (maybe to play with network/stun settings).. I tried that, but it looks those settings are not working as expected. If anyone has some free time, he is welcome to experiment with that ![]() Or if somebody considers that phone interoperability with Quadro as important, maybe I can look in more details... Best regards, David |
