I have setup my quadro2xi to work with half a dozen snom phones using the auto configuration from the epygi, so i just plug in the snom and when it boots up, it gets assigned an extension number, username etc automatically. However, the phone stops during the boot cycle as it requires the country setting to be set, this has to be done on the phone itself currently.
Is there a way of writing a file to the eygi which the phone will read and use the information from that file to setup the extensions, Lines, Voicemail etc? Maybe as seperate files? It's fine going in and editing 10 - 20 extensions individually to setup usernames etc, but it will get very labour intensive to do this for a large number of extensions or lines. Much easier to enter the info in a spreadsheet and then upload from there (or a CSV, text file etc). Maybe there is a list somewhere which details what settings can be automatically set up using an uploaded config file or the like? Any guidance or help much appreciated. Lee |

Lee you can download the config in text format ... edit it and then reload it back up to the Quadro
Just use system --- configuration management In there you can down load the file in text format for manipulation. Regards Kev |

Hi Lee,
I gather you are based in South Africa, i had the same problem, the issue is that Epygi has the Pretoria as a timezone, yet Snom does not. The best it to choose Cairo on the Epygi as the timezone, this will then allow the Snom phones to insert the timezone automatically. regards, Shaun |
