changing snom ring tones

Hi There,

I am able to change the ring tone but i am trying to make thePSTN ring tone different from the internal tone, i make the default tone "ringer 6", the external tone "ringer 3" and when dialing in from the PSTN or an internal extension i only get the "ringer 6" tone

I have suspicion that you are changing the tone from the phone itself. Use Quadro "Distinctive" ringing feature. Go to the extension's "CallerID Based Services" page (under exyension login), create a new entry there with "PSTN" Call Type and "*" Address, then enable Distinctive Ringing feature for that entry. Choose some ringing pattern from drop-down list.

thank you for the help - worked well, just need to ask, are there going to be more rings to choice from in the future, i only have a list of four?

Currently there are no plans to add additional ringing patterns on Quadro.I don't know if something will be impleneted in the future. In any case there will be an announcement, if the ringing pattern count will be increased.
