Hi all, we have 2 company that uses the same system (Quadro2x), we must
secure access to our IP line to the employee of the other company and blocked access to theys lines of business to our employee. Is there a way to give access to a certain extention to certain line only |

Hi,
so you want to allow certain extensions use certain Trunk lines ( FXO or ISDN? )....this can be done in the call routing table. Can you tell us more details about what type of lines you have and I'll try and give an example route table rule? Thanks, Paul |

OK, I;ll use ISDN as my example as that's all I've installed.
So enter a new route; Pattern: * NDS: 0 Filter on Caller / Call Type / Modify Caller ID: Tick this. On the next page is: Port ID: Select the line you want to use here. On the next page: Inbound Caller Pattern: put the extensions you want to use here. That should be it. Give it a try and let us know. Regards, Paul |

Please also get familiar to "Preventing Unauthorized Calls on the Quadro" document, that is placed in our WEB, under "Downloads" section. Especially pay attention to the "Using Filters on Call Routing Rules" part.Edited by: aramk
