Hi all,

I’ve set up my Quadro with much help from this forum, so
many thanks for that. I’ve one issue left namely;

The customer has a block of ISDN numbers assigned to them
from the Telco say:

xxx-xxxx910-39 and xxx-xxxx960-69

I can route inbound calls directly to each extension but
outbound calls all seem to have the same caller ID i.e. xxx-xxxx090. How do I
set it up so that outbound ISDN calls from specific extensions keep their
extension number i.e. so that if I called my mobile from extension 11 the
caller ID appearing on my mobile would be xxx-xxxx911 ???

Any help is much appreciated.

Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

First of all on your mobile phone you should see the caller ID from the DID numbers range you have got from Telecom. The Caller ID "xxx-xxxx090" you are receiving in your mobile phone is not from the range. Please check this.

Yes, you can use Call Routing Rules to send different kind of (from range)Caller ID to Telecom. You should select "Filter on Caller/Call Type /Modify Caller ID" checkbox and change "Inbound Caller Pattern" accordingly tomap User Names to PSTN numbers.

Best Regards,Artur

Guys,I figured it out :-)In the route:

Pattern: 00*

NDS: empty

Prefix: 0 ( cos Eircom drop the first zero )

Next I ticked filter on caller.

Next I unticked keep original caller ID.

Inbound caller pattern: *

Inbound number of discarded symbols: n/a

Inbound prefix: 59

As the Routing table only sees 2 digits coming from an extension ( e.g.
11 ), I add on the 59 to it and this passes through the ISDN lines with a
caller ID of xxx-xxx5911 :-)So the Telco Éircom vary the last four digits.

So I got away with only having to adjust one routing entry, nice :-)

Thanks again,

Paul
