Analogue line stuck on busy/ waiting.

Guys,
hoping you can assist me on this. I have a 16Xi on site. The customer says one of there analogue extensions is not working. I've logged on remotely and can see from the following;

STATUS>LINE STATS>

Phone state: off hook

Call state: busy / waiting

The extension in questions seems to be stuck on off hook and busy or waiting even if I delete the extension and recreate it.

Is there any way to disable or reset an extension? I'm running software version: 4.1.40

Any suggestions as to what this problem might be?

It's not the first time I've seen it, in the past I've just moved the phone onto a spare analogue line but I've run out now.

Hey Paul, this sounds like the telephone is not hanging up correctly and placing a call on hold perhaps or the epygi is not recognising the hang up sequence from the telephone..

Check the hook flash settings on the telephone to ensure that it is set correctly...

Failing that try a different telephone ...
