IPConvergenceThe Epygi QX1000 offers a complete solution for offices with up to 1,000 people. The QX1000 will provide enterprises with all the advanced telephony features already found on the QuadroM product line. The QX1000 also supports a comprehensive range of additional features including Video/Audio conferencing, Barge-in, ACD for call centers, Call Recording, Find-me Follow-me, Microsoft Outlook integration and softphone support. This product allows Epygi to expand its production selection beyond the small and medium business market.

Video conferencing is an important business tool for companies with clients and offices in many locations. Epygi gives small businesses an affordable way to tap into this luxury feature. The video conferencing feature allows for the speakers to see one another and switch either manually or automatically to the person who is speaking. Today, having the ability to connect visually is essential and strengthens businesses by closing the gap of distance when people are unable to meet face-to-face.

Another exciting product that the French market will see a sneak peek of is the Quadro GSM 4. This solution is an IP PBX with built-in GSM wireless antennas. This will allow users to place calls over traditional lines, SIP connections or over the GSM wireless network.

"This is the second consecutive year that we will be presenting at IP Convergence with Epygi," says Xavier Paour, President of IT-LOGIQ. "To date, Epygi Quadro is still the all-in-one, reliable, simple and cost-effective solution; however, this year Epygi has launched many new products that will meet our users needs, and we are very proud to display these advancements."

"Epygi looks forward to attending the IP Convergence Expo once again. The French market remains a strong market for Epygi products. We continuously look for feedback in order to adapt our products and continue to make them innovative and relevant," says Kelly Carden, Epygi's French channel manager.

The IP Convergence Expo is the leader in computer trade shows within France, specifically IP communications equipment, services and application. The three day expo will include 235 exhibitors, 25 partners, 10,000 visitors, and 90 journalists of the economic and specialized press. For more information about the IP Convergence, click here.

Epygi Teaches The da Vinci School About the Wonders of VoIP

da Vinci SchoolThe da Vinci School is a nonprofit, non-denominational organization founded in 1987, operating primarily from the tuition and fees collected each year and donations received from parents and friends of the school. The da Vinci School serves families with children from 18 months through the kindergarten and primer level. The da Vinci School's mission is to help establish basic skills through teaching methods that enhance a child's joy in learning, ability to learn, and interest in learning (a broad range of subject areas) while fostering the child's self-confidence and self-image.

Additionally, the teachers at The da Vinci School are carefully screened and selected for their abilities to nurture as well as stimulate and educate. They all have degrees in some field related to education or child development and are additionally trained by the school in the areas of brain and sensory motor development.

Bigger campus, bigger phone system

The da Vinci School recently moved to a location that is three times larger than their previous one, and they needed to decide what phone system to install in the new facility. The main issue The da Vinci School was trying to solve had to do with keeping teachers and school administrators connected in the new 22,000 square foot campus versus the old 6,800 square foot location. They were looking for the ability to have seamless communication throughout the campus with extensions in offices and classrooms, direct numbers and call forwarding.

A, B, C, D, or Epygi?

Epygi Technologies is an affordable and feature-rich option, making it an easy choice for The da Vinci School. After receiving a recommendation from their IT technician, The da Vinci School decided that Epygi would be the best solution to satisfy their needs. PCBOTS, Epygi Technologies' Value-Added Reseller (VAR), installed the system in just one day, allowing The da Vinci School to take advantage of all the VoIP features immediately, including call transfer, call pick-up, call conferences, auto attendants, voicemail and automatic call managing when users are busy.

"With many other IP PBX solutions, the applications we were looking for required different software to be added to the system, but with Epygi, all the features were included," says Mary Ann Greene, President of the Board for The da Vinci School.
