Epygi Technologies Officially Certified with Polycom IP Phones
Epygi receives Polycom VIP Program certification for interoperability with Polycom VoIP phones.

On September 15, 2008, Epygi announced that Polycom is the newest addition to the Epygi Partner Program. Polycom is now fully certified, and Epygi is an official Polycom VIP Program member.

QuadroM 32x IP PBX Singled Out for Innovation and Quality at Leading IP Communications Conference at Los Angeles Convention Center

At the Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO West 2008 on September 17, 2008, Epygi’s QuadroM 32x was recognized as the best telephony offering for small businesses.

The QuadroM 32x IP PBX was designed for larger businesses with a greater need for IP extensions and SIP trunks. The appliance boosts capacity to as many as sixty concurrent calls and scales to 192 extensions. Many of the Epygi VARs have labeled this new product as the cost effective and reliable alternative to open source products. A full API using XML further expands the capabilities of the QuadroM 32x IP PBX.

Like other Quadro IP PBXs, the QuadroM 32x comes with a built-in QoS router for Internet access, a stateful inspection firewall, NAT, DHCP client and server, IPSec and VPN. It can be configured remotely via web browser using a simple GUI. Software enhancements include an optional integrated 32/64-person conference bridge (enabled with license keys) and programmable ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) (ETA 4Q2008) for call centers.

Epygi and Snom Sales and Technical Training Held in
Mexico City

Epygi, Snom and Tek-mart are joining forces on a sales and technical certification event held in Mexico City on September 24th to 26, 2008, aimed at system integrators and VARs. The free sales training will be held the morning of Friday, September 26th and is open to network and telecom integrators. It will cover Epygi and Snom product lines and the benefits VoIP technology offers to integrators and end users.

The manufacturer certified technical training begins Wednesday, September 24th and will cover Epygi and Snom products. All courses will be held in Spanish at the Nikko Hotel in Mexico City.
