Introducing Epygi Softphone: eQall

eQall is Epygi’s softphone available for Microsoft Windows and for mobile devices. It can be installed on a desktop PC, a laptop and a smartphone and will use the internet for making, receiving and transferring VoIP calls directly from your computer. With its easy-to-use interface it functions much the same way as any Epygi supported full-featured desk phone.

eQall is a full desk phone replacement and is intended to be used only with QX/UC PBX appliances and Epygi ecQX, the cloud based PBX. It registers as an extension to the QX/UC/ecQX system and operates like a normal PBX extension without the need for a desk SIP phone.

There is no doubt that Epygi eQall softphone will be an incredible addition to your VoIP solution. Whether it’s the benefits and convenience or the cost savings that you’re interested in, the use of eQall softphone alongside your VoIP solution is guaranteed to meet the needs of your growing business.

NEW FEATURE HIGHLIGHT:  Out of Office Feature Code

In the latest software release the number of Epygi supported feature codes have been increased. The newly introduced feature code – *87 allows the user to activate/deactivate the Out of Office service just on the phone, bypassing the necessity of accessing the GUI management, which can come in very handy.

The feature codes are great for managing and controlling certain configuration options and allowing to toggle on/off certain telephony features on the phone system. The Epygi IP PBXs of QX and UC line support a wide range of feature codes, that when dialed allow to manage certain configuration options, activate/deactivate certain features and services on the phone system. This could be anything from accessing and navigating through the extension’s voice mail mailboxes and voice mail services, activating DND and call forwarding on the extensions, blocking/unblocking certain phone numbers and many other services.
