Epygi Technologies Receives 2020 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award
TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named eQall as a recipient of a 2020 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.
eQall was debuted by Epygi at the 2020 ITEXPO in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It is a fully featured softphone available for Microsoft Windows and for mobile devices. It can be installed on a desktop PC, a laptop and a smartphone and will use the internet for making, receiving and transferring VoIP calls directly from your computer. With its easy-to-use interface it functions much the same way as any Epygi supported full-featured desk phone.
eQall is a full desk phone replacement and is intended to be used only with QX/UC PBX appliances and Epygi ecQX, the cloud based PBX. It registers as an extension to the QX/UC/ecQX system and operates like a normal PBX extension without the need for a desk SIP phone.

Work from Home and be Safe During COVID-19

The best option during this difficult time would be our award-wining eQall which will become your employees’ full desk phone replacement. All incoming and outgoing call records via eQall are saved. Employees can keep in touch with each other using eQall’s chat. Simple call forwarding to a cell phone is a quick solution to receiving your customer’s calls. Better yet, using Find Me Follow Me calls can ring to multiple extensions that might be using eQall or even to employee’s cell phones. When one person answers the others stop ringing. Unanswered calls can go to a General Voice Mailbox. Using eQall the users can get a visual indicator of the voicemail and listen to the message. Voicemail to email will still work.

Epygi Feature Highlight: WebRTC Click2Call
The WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) Click2Call feature would be a great option for your customers working from home. It would be a great convenience to your customers to be able to click a link straight from their browser and call you at home without losing any time dialing the number. Calls are promptly routed to QX extensions or destinations allowing them to speak to the right person.
It is available on Epygi’s cloud offering ecQX, and the high-end on-premise QX3000 and QX5000 devices can be effectively used to get customers to call you via their WEB sites. This feature allows users to make WebRTC calls from a web browser to QX extensions or destinations external to QX. The only condition is that the phone numbers should match the routing rules specified in the Call Routing table of the QX.
To deliver a WebRTC call to the desired extension, the only thing to configure on the QX is the mapping table. The records of that table will map the specific identifications used in the links to the phones’ numbers called by the QX. Upon completing the mapping table configuration, you can successfully give the WebRTC URL for the desired links to anyone via email, chat or SMS. Callers from outside your network can simply click on the WebRTC URL and reach the phone extension on the QX, Auto Attendant or any other phone number in the global PSTN network.
