Epygi has New Features for its Award-Winning eQall Softphone

Epygi is excited to announce that its eQall softphone has been empowered with great features:

  • Auto Answer
  • Presence Status
  • Separate Ringing Device Selection

Epygi’s eQall will become your employees’ full desk phone replacement for those needing to work from home due to COVID-19. It is available for Microsoft Windows and Android platform and can be installed on a desktop PC, a laptop and a smartphone.

eQall will use the internet for making, receiving and transferring VoIP calls. With its easy-to-use interface it functions much the same way as any Epygi supported full-featured desk phone.

Please note, that all incoming and outgoing call records via eQall will be saved. The company’s directory and the user’s personal directory are great time savers and calls can be recorded for management to monitor the work process more efficiently. Employees can keep in touch with each other using eQall’s chat.

Epygi Technologies Announces Partnership with Wecom

Wecom has been appointed as Epygi distributor in Brazil. With its unparalleled experience supplying communication solutions in the Brazilian market. It will offer Epygi’s feature-rich ecQX Cloud PBX and the value-add call center solution.

New Feature Highlight: Multicast Paging

With the upcoming SW release, Epygi IP PBXs will have added support for the Multicast Paging solution.

By configuring a programmable key (MPK) on some of the IP phones the user will be able to easily and quickly broadcast an instant audio announcement to a pre-defined group of phones who are subscribed/listening to a specific multicast paging group. It activates the speaker of the listening phones automatically. Multicast Paging acts within the same network where the announcer is located. The phone can play the announcement when the phone is in an active call, idle, DND or even in another announcement state. The order in which the announcement will be played is decided by their priority. The feature allows a user to select a pre-configured group of phones to send an announcement to.

Currently, the Multicast Paging is implemented for the Yealink T4/T5 series, for Htek UC9xxx, snom 7xx, Dxx, and Epygi UC 9xx IP phones. Support of Multicast Paging on other Epygi supported IP phones will be extended in future releases.
