Did You Know? QXIDN4 Gateway Can be Converted into an IP PBX

The QXISDN4 Gateway connects using four ISDN ports. It is ideal to convert legacy ISDN PBX devices to IP to extend the life of these devices at an excellent price point. The QXISDN4 gateway can be converted to a full PBX by installing the PBX conversion license key.

WHY WOULD YOU NEED THAT? Simply because if for some reason in the future you decide to have an IP PBX, instead of a gateway, then with the “magic” activation license key you can convert it into a full IP PBX. Thus, you will extend the life of this device at an excellent price point.

Product Highlight: QXE1T1 Gateway

The QXE1T1 gateway features 30 channels for E1 or 24 channels for T1 and conforms to a broad variety of voice codecs and signaling protocols.

It includes call routing and auto attendant capabilities, voice prioritization over data and sophisticated firewall and security elements. The main function of this gateway is primarily to bridge traditional legacy PBX traffic to SIP trunks, extending the life of these systems. It also allows for PRI connectivity of the QX PBX to legacy trunks.

The Hosted Survivability feature, when activated, will allow your company’s telephones to work, even when the broadband link or Hosted PBX is down. Users can also use this feature to provide access to remote phones in a branch office.

ecQX – Available as an ISO Image

Epygi’s Cloud Communications Solution (ecQX), unlike some other products out there that restrict your hosting options, gives you the choice of hosting the ISO image at your data center or have it hosted by us on our systems.

We have recently improved the existing redundancy by implementing an automatic failover to reduce the downtime of the instance to a couple of minutes in case of hardware or network failures.

ecQX is the full-fledged counterpart to our renowned QX series of hardware-based PBX systems. With a wide range of highly customizable call features and management capabilities that are comparable to the hardware-based QX devices, the ecQX provides a stable platform to safely migrate your communications environment from hardware-based systems to the CLOUD.
