Feature Highlight: ecMON’s Remote GUI Access

ecMON, Epygi’s cloud-based monitoring tool, serves as a web application platform for centralized monitoring of Epygi QX IP PBXs, regardless of their location (on-premise or in the cloud).

Using a web browser, users can conveniently access ecMON, which provides real-time event notifications for QX application statuses. Moreover, it allows for remote web access to QX devices and IP phones within the same network, even if they are situated behind a NAT/firewall.

Once remote access is granted, it remains active for the entire duration specified as the “Access timeout” in the “Remote Access Configuration.” This grants users the flexibility to close and reopen the browser connection multiple times within that defined timeframe.

With ecMON’s intuitive interface and comprehensive monitoring capabilities, administrators can effectively ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of Epygi QX IP PBXs, resulting in enhanced productivity and customer satisfaction.

Epygi’s PIN Barring Tool

Epygi’s Calling Cost Control feature empowers users to effectively manage and restrict calling costs while using payable routing rules. One of its key functionalities is the PIN Barring option, which enhances the flexibility of Calling Cost Control on Epygi IP PBXs.

It allows users to allocate and oversee credits associated with PIN codes configured in the QX Local AAA table. When making calls through call routing rules with Call Rate Settings enabled, these assigned credits are utilized when authentication by PIN is required. It’s important to note that PIN codes without assigned credits cannot utilize routing rules with enabled Call Rate Settings.

This empowers administrators to effectively track and analyze calling patterns, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and ensure optimal utilization of available resources.
