Epygi Offers Data Security for Call Recordings

Make sure your client’s data is safe and secure with our encryption capabilities. Your recorded voice interactions can now be encrypted in transit, providing an added layer of protection.

We have support for sending call recordings via FTP as encrypted files. The receiving server can decrypt these files using the same technology, ensuring secure access when needed in the future.

By emailing or storing data in an encrypted format, we safeguard it against unauthorized access, maintaining the highest standards of data security.

This enhancement reflects our commitment to data privacy and security. We understand the importance of protecting sensitive client information and continually strive to implement the most advanced security measures. By leveraging encryption for both transit and storage, we provide peace of mind that your data is protected at all stages.

Epygi Gateway Hosted Survivability

Ensure uninterrupted communication for your business with Epygi’s Gateway Hosted Survivability feature. In the event of a broadband connection loss to a hosted platform, your business can continue making and receiving internal and PSTN calls.

This feature activates the QXFXO4 and QXE1T1 gateways, integrated into your company’s network, as secondary registrar servers for IP phones connected to the hosted platform.

During a broadband failure, the gateway seamlessly takes over, routing calls to and from IP phones. Additionally, calls from the PSTN can be directed to the gateway’s Auto Attendant, allowing quick redirection to IP phones as needed.

eQall Receptionist

The eQall softphone for Windows offers a powerful feature called the Receptionist Console, featuring a graphical user interface designed to monitor the status of up to 100 selected extensions on the QX. This feature enables users to monitor call status (ringing or on a call) and presence status (online, offline, away, DND), simplifying call handling procedures.

For instance, when transferring a call or setting up a conference call with a monitored extension, the receptionist can easily view the current status of the extension. This information helps the receptionist make informed decisions about whether to proceed with the call transfer or not.
