Feature Highlight: The Third Network Interface

The third network interface has been incorporated into the QX20/QX60/QX100/QX500 range of products. This interface has been specifically designed to cater to situations where a separate network interface is required, independent from the LAN and WAN interfaces.

The objective behind this development is to enable SIP trunk providers to connect the interface to their private network, just as they would connect to the LAN interface.

By default, the third network interface is disabled and can only be enabled through the “LAN1 Network Interface Settings” GUI page. After enabling this feature, users will need to assign a static IP address to the interface, with the factory default IP address being 172.31.0.1.

Expanded IP Phone Interoperability

Epygi recently introduced a new software version that incorporates Plug-and-Play (PnP) and auto-provisioning support for several Yealink phone models, including SIP-T31W, SIP-T34W, SIP-T44U, and SIP-T44W. These phones offer built-in WiFi, seamless deployment, high-quality HD audio, and improved security features.

The new software version also provides PnP and auto-provisioning support for Fanvil FH-S01, a SIP ceiling speaker equipped with paging, multicast pageing, broadcasting, and talk back features.

With the addition of PnP and auto-provisioning support, these phones can now be effortlessly integrated into the unified communications network, ensuring users enjoy a seamless communication experience. This feature is especially beneficial for businesses needing to deploy a large number of phones across multiple locations.
