QXE1T1: Extending Legacy Telephony for Modern Networks

The QXE1T1 is a gateway device designed to bridge legacy PBX systems to SIP trunks, supporting 30 E1 or 24 T1 channels. It conforms to a broad variety of voice codecs and signaling protocols.

It features call routing, auto attendant, voice prioritization, and robust security tools like a firewall and VPN router. Ideal for extending the life of traditional systems, it also enables PRI connectivity for QX PBXs.

The QXE1T1 gateway is well-suited for industries that rely on existing telephony infrastructure but are transitioning to IP-based communication. Common use cases include hospitality, healthcare, government, education, and financial services, where integrating SIP trunks with legacy PBX systems is crucial for cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and maintaining service continuity.

Feature highlight: Voice Mail/Call Recording Transcription

Voice Mail/ Call Recording Transcription (with Diarization) is an AI-powered feature that automatically converts voice mail messages and call recordings into accurate, readable text. Voice mail transcriptions are conveniently delivered to users via email notifications, while call recording transcriptions can be sent through FTP or TFTP for centralized access and storage. Once activated, the license remains valid indefinitely until its usage limit is reached, and then it can be replenished with a license renewal.

This feature is particularly valuable for organizations that rely heavily on voice communications and need efficient ways to archive, search, or review conversations. It’s ideal for customer support, legal, healthcare, and sales environments—anywhere accurate call documentation is essential. The addition of diarization (speaker separation) ensures clarity by identifying individual speakers, which is especially helpful for multi-party conversations and compliance tracking.
