Epygi’s Multicast Paging

The Multicast Paging solution allows users to easily and quickly broadcast an instant audio announcement to a pre-defined group of phones who are subscribed to a specific multicast paging group. There is no limit to the number of paging endpoints.

The phone can play the announcement when the phone is in an active call, idle, DND, or even in another announcement state. The order in which the announcement will be played is decided by their priority.

Currently, the Multicast Paging is implemented for the Yealink T4/T5 series, for Htek UC9xxx, snom 7xx, Dxx, and Epygi UC 9xx IP phones. Support of Multicast Paging on other Epygi-supported IP phones will be extended in future releases.

Epygi Got Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional security layer on Epygi products intended to ensure that unauthorized users cannot access the Graphical User Interface even if the password has been leaked. If 2FA is enabled the password alone is no longer enough to access the GUI, it significantly improves the security of your device and the information you store there.

2FA on Epygi devices works with all Authenticator applications including those from Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon. An authenticator application is a standalone software application that can be downloaded to a mobile device or desktop computer. It generates a random one-time password that can be used on the second step of 2FA.

EAC – Feature Highlight

Epygi’s call center solution is a combination of functions that provide all necessary features to a dedicated or small corporate call center. It is based on the following tools: The Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), the Automatic Outbound Calling (AOC), and the Epygi ACD Console (EAC).

EAC is a web application used for monitoring call center activities by ACD admins and supervisors. EAC stores and formats the ACD data, producing real-time and statistical reports on the ACD activities as well as creating an efficient management environment for admins and supervisors.

The EAC data can be automatically backed up on a pre-defined schedule. The backup file will include ACD call statistics and ACD agents’ status statistics. It can be saved for a maximum of a year and can be downloaded and saved in case of emergency.
